In this project, I led a comprehensive rebrand for a breakfast restaurant, transforming its identity with a new logo, brand assets, and website. The goal was to shift its perception from a quick dining spot to a warm, social hub where customers feel encouraged to gather and connect.
THE PROBLEM
The restaurant’s original branding catered to quick-service customers rather than fostering a social atmosphere. The challenge was to create a brand identity that encouraged lingering and engagement.
THE RESEARCH
I studied coffee shops and other social spaces to understand how branding influences the atmosphere. Analyzed the brand’s values of ethically sourced and local food brands, and identified their use of playful, engaging tones to connect with customers.
THE Solution
Integrated coffee shop-inspired branding elements while maintaining a focus on food through imagery. Retained the brand’s original playful tone while reinforcing its values, emphasizing sustainability, ethical sourcing, and community connection.
